“Either you run the day or the day runs you.” … Jim Rohn
We have all had those days when you wonder, … “What the heck happened today?”. It’s usually a sign that I am too scattered with no particular plan and so I find myself being mostly reactive rather than proactive. It seems there is never a shortage of things to do or people who want you to deal with THEIR situation first. Knowing when and how to say NO to others and to the stuff we think we must do indicates you’re regaining some control over your life.
It’s been said that successful people have learned how to control their environment while those who struggle more often are usually letting their environment dictate how they must respond. It’s certainly not new information — in fact, most people are already fully aware that setting clear goals and then taking the appropriate action will always produce better results. So how come we don’t do this?
Last call for our June 21-23 Boot Camp for speakers here in Calgary. If you are a speaker, trainer, workshop facilitator, etc. and would like to expand your keynote opportunities, this would be the perfect program for you. With only 10 participants, you will get lots of personal attention and leave with a specific keynote implementation plan. There are only 2 spots left in this program. If you make ANY presentations in the course of your business, we will make you even better on stage. You do NOT have to be a professional speaker to attend and it’s not unusual to have one or two corporate executives in the Boot Camp who want to polish their platform skills. For details and to register on-line, go to http://www.getbettergetbusier.com or call me at 403-931-1653.
